Department of Radiotherapy ❯ The Patient Journery ❯ Step 4: Finish Radiation Treatments

Your prescribed radiation treatment is completed! It is an exciting time where you step into a new phase of the patient journey: the recovery phase. It is also time to say good-bye to your healthcare team at the radiation therapy department. Please note that the side effects of treatment may emerge up to two weeks after the last radiation treatment before they will start to dissipate. Don’t worry, this is normal. Therefore, please follow our skin-care instructions for two weeks post-treatment.
