Walk For A Vision 2023

Act now and register. Let's walk for love!

Organised by HKSH Village Volunteers, Walk For A Vision 2023 will be held both in physical and virtual formats to raise funds for Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired to purchase a custom-equipped 24 seater minibus for proper and safe transportation of children or youth or elderly with visual impairment, intellectual or other disabilities. Please take part in Walkathon with friends and family in-person on 23 March 2023 (Sunday) or virtually from 27 March to 30 April 2023. Step up for people with visual and multiple disabilities.

3K Circle Rally
3K Circle Rally, a competitive race for a team of four or individuals to run around the hilltop of Violet Hill, is a part of the whole course route with time trail. The starting and ending points are at Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital. All runners have to complete also the 5K Route of Charity Walk, crossing all the check points to qualify for awards of their corresponding categories.

Guidelines for Participation

Complete the required distance of your category within the event period, at the time and location of your own choice. Use your sports watch or mobile app to record details of your walk/run, including the time, route and distance and submit information via whatsapp: 9102 9995 or email: info@hksh-vv.com [6]. Please submit relevant photo(s) if you want to enter any award competition.

Awards

Awards for Virtual Walk/Run include Top Fundraiser (Individual / Team), Longest Distance (Individual), Most Special Route, Best Scenic Photo, Warmest Family Photo, and Cutest Pet Partner. Winners will be announced by 1 June. Prize includes certificate and supermarket coupon.

Lucky Draw
A lucky draw will be held respectively for Physical and Virtual Walk/Run. Prizes include Sport Watch and Supermarket Coupons. For Virtual Walk/Run, each participation with donation shall be entitled to one entry in the Lucky Draw and multiple entries are permitted. However, each participant is eligible to one prize only.

Please deposit donations to the CMB Wing Lung Bank Account of “HKSH Village Volunteers Limited”: 020-611-006-0200-7. Or make a crossed cheque payable to “HKSH Village Volunteers Limited”. Please state clearly the event name, participant name(s) and number(s), contact details on the back of the cheque. Tax deductible receipt will be issued to any donation of HK$100 or above.
